Reciting the Qur’an in the Graveyard and Conveying the Reward
Question
Is it correct or not to go to shrines, sit there, recite the Qur’an and gift [its reward] to the one buried in the grave, and to go to the grave with this intention?
Answer
It is correct; so it is in al-Durr al-Mukhtar. But it is better that one not take a copy of the Qur’an there, but rather recite from memory.
