Your fatwa has been received. It established that the fatwa of Madrasa Kanz al-‘Ulum, Tanda, is in accordance with the sunna and that the fatwa of Madrasa ‘Ayn al-‘Ulum, Tanda, is Mu‘tazilite. You quoted a passage from “al-Hidaya”, and you also wrote that after the funeral prayer the bier should be lifted immediately, and on the way to the grave, while walking, people should recite [the Qur’an] as much as each is able and convey the reward [to the deceased]; and whatever reward is conveyed before burial is more…

(1) This was a special feature (khususiyya) of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ: [ar]أخرج ابن سعد وابن منيع والحاكم والبيهقي والطبراني (في الأوسط) عن ابن مسعود ﵁ قال: لما ثقل رسول الله ﷺ قلنا: من يغسلك يا رسول الله ﷺ؟ قال: رجال من أهل بيتي الأدنى فالأدنى، مع ملائكة كثيرة يرونكم من حيث لا ترونهم. قلنا: من يصلي عليك؟
