The Funeral Prayer for an Intersex (Khuntha) Child

Question

If a boy is born alive and has no passage at all for stool and urine, which funeral prayer will be performed over him — that of a girl or that of a boy?

Answer

The rulings for a girl will apply to such a child, except for those few specific rulings which are quoted in “al-Ashbah” (p. 244).
