Are the Jews and Christians People of the Book: Marriage to Their Women and Their Slaughtered Meat
Question
Are those Christians and Jews who were present at the time of the Prophet’s ﷺ mission and did not believe, as well as those who have not believed to this day, disbelievers or not? And do they deserve to be called People of the Book or not? And if they do, are marriage with them and eating and drinking together still permissible or not?
