The author of the book “Do Islam” (“Two Islams”) is Ghulam Jilani Barq. Is it permissible to read this book or not? Is what is written in it about the hadiths correct or not? Has the respected Mawlana Tayyib written a reply to the book “Do Islam” — if he has, please inform us.

In Dr. Ghulam Jilani Barq’s book “Do Islam”, the hadiths, which are entirely guidance conveyed by the noble Prophet ﷺ, are declared unreliable and mocked — this is misguidance and irreligion of the utmost degree. Muslims must on no account study this book, for if one relies on it, religion will be destroyed. He has another book as well, “Do Qur’an” (“Two Qur’ans”)
