Reliable Books Refuting Shi‘ism and Hinduism

Question: Which book should be studied to refute Shi‘ism, and which to refute Hinduism? Please give the titles.

Answer

For refuting Shi‘ism, it will be useful to study “Tuhfa Ithna ‘Ashariyya”, “Hadiyyat al-Shi‘a”, “Hidayat al-Shi‘a” and “Hidayat al-Rashid” — these books contain material of a high scholarly standard. And for refuting Hinduism, “Qibla-numa” (“The Qibla Indicator”), “Intisar al-Islam”, “Radd al-Tanasukh”, “Kufr Tor” (“The Breaker of Unbelief”) and the like are useful.
