Deceitfully feeding people the meat of swine and dogs
Question
A person has, by deception, fed people the meat of swine or dogs on many occasions: once this becomes known, what is his punishment in the Shari‘a?
Answer
He deserves a severe ta‘zir, the determination of which rests with the discretion of the imam who holds the right of ta‘zir. The common people can do only this much: not trust him in future and not keep company with him.
