Zina with a married woman also violates the right of a servant (haqq al-‘abd)

Question

Question: One scholar describes zina as a right of a servant (haqq al-‘abd, a right of a human being), and another does not. Whose view is correct?

Answer

It is written in “Fath al-Mubin”: zina with a woman who has a husband is also a right of a servant; that it is a right of Allah (haqq Allah) is obvious. Therefore the view of both scholars is correct. Such a person violates both the right of Allah and the right of a servant.
