Forgetting the Two Rak‘as of Tawaf and Starting Another Tawaf
Question
If a person forgets to pray the two rak‘as after a tawaf and begins another tawaf, and then remembers, what should he do: should he abandon this second tawaf and pray the two rak‘as, or should he complete the second tawaf as well?
Answer
If he remembers before one circuit (shawt) of the second tawaf is completed, he should abandon it and pray the two rak‘as. If he remembers after one circuit has been completed, he should complete this tawaf, and after that pray two rak‘as for the first tawaf and two rak‘as for the second tawaf (“Minha”, vol. 2, p. 356).
