How long does a new Muslim remain a “new Muslim”?

Question: For how many years will a new Muslim be called a new Muslim?

Answer

“New Muslim” means that he himself accepted Islam and was not born of Muslim lineage; in this sense he will remain a new Muslim all his life. And this is no defect at all.
