Intercourse with one’s wife in the anus

Question

If a man had intercourse with his wife in the anus (dubur) instead of the vagina (qubul), thinking that it was in fact the vagina, and after he finished the woman told him, “You used the impermissible passage” — while at the time of intercourse the woman knew that the impermissible passage was being used but said nothing at that time and told him afterwards — then the question is: has the man committed a sin or not? And has the woman also committed a sin or not?

Answer

In the situation described, the woman will have committed a major sin. [ar]كما يستفاد عن عيادة الجواب الرابع[/ar] “As is derived from the ‘iyada (?) of the fourth answer.”
