Heating milk with added water so that the original remains is permissible
Question
Question: Water is mixed into milk and it is heated, and after that tea is made from this milk and served. Is such an act permissible or not?
Answer
If you buy pure milk and mix water into it, this act would be such that if another person did it, you would dislike it; (if) you yourselves do this act, why would it not be disliked? In any case, if water is added so that on heating the water boils away and the milk remains in its original state, and tea is made from it and served, then it is correct.
