What is a hamzad?

Question

Is it true that when a human being is born, a devil is also born, which is called a hamzad (“born together with”)? Is a devil really born, or is it merely a popular saying?

Answer

It is found in the noble hadith that with every human being a devil is born; the common people call it the hamzad.
