Kissing a beardless youth (amrad) without desire

Question: I heard from a certain religious scholar that kissing a beardless youth (amrad) without desire is permissible, and in support he also stated that it is written in the marginal gloss (hashiya) of Kanz al-Daqa’iq. So what is the ruling on this matter: is kissing an amrad permissible or not? And is it in the gloss of the Kanz or not?

Answer

I have not seen this matter in the gloss of Kanz al-Daqa’iq. Let them obtain from him a reference to the passage, or the chapter and so on, and write, and then it can be looked into. The kinds of kissing are mentioned in al-Durr al-Mukhtar, in Kitab al-Hazr wa-l-Ibaha, a little before “Fasl fi al-Bay‘”.
