How to drink water from a water-jug using a cupped hand

Question

Question: A clay water-jug is filled with water. A person lifts the jug with his right hand and uses his left hand as a cupped palm. Will this act count as the sunna way of drinking water with the right hand, or (as drinking) with the left hand?

Answer

If one is to drink water from a cupped hand, then one should take the handful with the right hand and drink: the jug should be lifted with the left hand, poured into the right hand, and drunk from.
