Greeting and Eating with the Khaksar Sect
Question
A person holds the belief that the Khaksars (members of the Khaksar movement of Inayatullah Mashriqi) are kafirs; then Zayd eats food with these kafirs. Can he remain a Muslim or not, and is he fit for worldly dealings or not? (2) Are the Khaksars kafirs or not, and are they fit for dealings or not? Explain and be rewarded.
Answer
(1) Inayatullah Mashriqi, the founder of the Khaksars, has in his writings “Tadhkira”, “Qawl-e Faysal” (“The Decisive Word”) and others mocked the beliefs of Islam and, by the most severe insult, denied fundamental matters; therefore, according to the fatwa of the ulama of Islam, he is a kafir.
