The Mahdawiyya and Ahmadiyya Sects

Question

Are the Mahdawiyya sect followers of Jaunpuri, and the Ahmadiyya sect followers of Sir Sayyid Ahmad Khan? Kindly describe their circumstances briefly.

The two are separate; neither of them is a follower of the other.
