Communism and Socialism
Question
Are communism and its other branch, socialism, kufr or not? 2. Socialism, which is the self-made “ism” of a certain Jew — is it an independent code of a party or merely an economic system? 3. What is the [Shar‘i] status of associating with parties inclined to communism and socialism? 4.
Answer
Whatever the state of communism was when it began (rebellion against God and religion), that state did not remain afterwards: its clauses were gradually amended, to the point that, with respect to religion, the restriction was removed altogether and general freedom was given to everyone, so that a person of any religion may take part in it while retaining his religious views.
