What Kind of Party Is Communism?

Question

The party of communism in India — from your Islamic point of view, what kind of party is it?

Answer

Its beginning, indeed, rests on rebellion against God and religion; however, its principles also keep being amended. If a person takes part in it while remaining bound by the principles of Islam, he will not be declared to have left Islam; one and the same ruling will not be applied to all the members of the party, and neither will this party be called an Islamic party.
