The Slaughter of the Rafidis Under Compulsion

Question

In the region of Ladakh the Rafidis are found in large numbers as compared with the Muslims; most of the hotels (eating-houses) belong to Rafidis, on account of which one has to eat at their hotels. Now the question is this: is it permissible or not to eat the meat and other food prepared by these people? — that is, they slaughter with their own hands. Kindly favour us with an answer.

Answer

If it has not been established about them that their beliefs are contrary to the Holy Qur’an, then there is scope for eating the slaughtered meat at their hotel.
