Belief Concerning Krishna

Question

How is it to declare Krishna a prophet and to write that Muslims have faith in him?

Answer

Just as it is not permissible to deny the prophethood of anyone whose prophethood is established, so too it is not permissible to affirm the prophethood of anyone whose prophethood is not established. The names of some prophets ﵈ occur in the Holy Qur’an and the noble hadith (the name of Krishna is not among them)
