Does Allah Make Man Commit Evil Deeds?

Question

The good and evil deeds that a person performs — does he do them himself, or does Allah Most High make him do them?

Answer

Allah Most High does not command anyone to do evil deeds; rather, He forbids evil deeds. A person commits evil deeds himself, through the incitement of the nafs and Shaytan, and becomes deserving of punishment.
