A Difficulty Concerning the Issue of Predestination

Question

The point worth pondering is this: the predestination that the Lord wrote on the first day will certainly be fulfilled, whatever happens. What, then, is man’s fault in it, if some man’s life passed in worship and at the last moment his end turned out badly — so that for him there is Hell, and so much lifelong worship was wasted?

This issue is above your understanding — as if someone studying “Mizan” (the elementary primer of Arabic morphology) were to say: “I cannot understand what the issue of alcohol is about.”
