Isinglass (fish glue) — is it halal?

Description

Isinglass is a protein substance from fish bladders, used to fine beer and wine and, per the Sarkar 2023 review, in confectionery and technical uses. It is made from the bladders of many fish species. In the EU beer and other drinks above 1.2 % alcohol (except wine, for which 1308/2013 requires an ingredient list)
