A dervish caretaker selling graveyard land

Question

There is an old graveyard of our forefathers, and Shabrati Faqir had been placed in it as a caretaker. He has sold its land to another person. What is the ruling on this?

Answer

Since that dervish lived there merely in the capacity of a caretaker and was not the owner, his selling this land as though he were its owner is not permissible.
