Barelvis and Deobandis Helping Each Other’s Mosques

Question

Here there are people of two creeds (ʿaqida). May they give and accept help for each other’s mosques or not?

Answer

Regarding helping a mosque whose imam is of the Deobandi school and whose worshippers are likewise, ask the Barelvis whether they permit it or not. How would a fatwa of the ʿulama of Deoband be authoritative for them? Ask them also what the ruling is on accepting help if a Deobandi man helps their mosque.
