Selling a Mosque’s Surplus Oil

Question

Is it permissible or not to sell oil that has accumulated in the mosque in excess, and where should the price be spent?

Answer

Selling it with the permission of those who bring the oil, and spending the price where they permit, is permissible according to the Shariʿa.
