Auctioning and Using the Debris of the Mosque Floor

Question

The floor of the mosque had become old; it was broken up and another floor is being laid. May the debris of the floor — bricks, rubble and the like — be auctioned or not? And may the one who buys that debris use it in foundations or in any construction work or not?

Answer

Buying it and using it in foundations and the like is permissible according to the Shariʿa.
