A mosque inside a large house with a shared courtyard and the items bought for it

Question

In the village of Basira Kanwar, Bijnor district, when there was no mosque for performing the prayer, a certain man built a raised platform on his own land, and all the people of the village kept performing the five daily prayers there. Meanwhile the election season came. A certain man who had gained the trust of the village through his knowledge and conduct stood for the seat of village headman, while on the other side the landlord of the village was standing.

Answer

If that place (the one with the platform) is not waqf, the owner did not give permission to build a mosque there, and it is inside the large house with a shared courtyard such that not everyone is permitted to go there for prayer, then building a mosque there is not correct. Whatever fittings belong to whichever people, they may take them themselves.
