A mosque made by demolishing rooms in a hostel is not a mosque in the Sharʿi sense
Question
In a hostel in which about three hundred and fifty boys live, a mosque was made inside it by demolishing four or five rooms, and it was not given the proper form and appearance of a mosque. In this mosque the five daily prayers are regularly held in congregation, full arrangements for an imam and a muezzin are in place, and the Friday prayer is also held in it.
Answer
The rulings of a mosque in the Sharʿi sense will not apply to this place; a second congregation here is not prohibited either.
