A place becomes a mosque by permission for adhan and congregation
Question
A man intended (niyya) part of his land to be a mosque, enclosed it in the form of a house of worship and began praying there, but kept its door on his own side and has not yet set apart any separate way. Will this mosque be a mosque according to the Shariʿa or not?
Answer
If he gave people permission to pray there, the adhan and congregational prayer began to be held, and there is such a way for coming and going that there is no obstruction, then it has become a mosque in the Sharʿi sense.
