Conditional (mu‘allaq) or immediate (munajjaz) waqf

Question

Question: At present your Fatawa Mahmudiyya, p. 492, p. 489, is specifically before me. Kindly inform me of the actual ruling of the matter. In agreement with my own opinion, the opinion of the respected Hazrat Mufti Muhammad Yahya has also come. The land of six men has been taken for the expansion of the mosque, two of whom had said: “If the mosque is expanded and our land can be used, there is permission; but if the mosque is not built, we will not give it for a madrasa and the like.
