Giving the hide of the sacrificial animal to one’s father or children

Question

Question: What is the ruling on giving the hide of the sacrificial animal to one’s father or one’s children?

Answer

Just as it is correct to give them the meat of the sacrifice, it is likewise correct to give them the hide of the sacrifice (“Shami”, vol. 5, p. 209).
