Dividing the sacrificial meat among shareholders who live together

Question

Question: If seven men living in one place sacrifice one camel in which there are seven shares, is it necessary to divide its meat as well, although all these shareholders live in one place and all eat and drink together?

Answer

Dividing it is not necessary; if they cook it all together and eat it, that too is correct (“Shami”, vol. 5, p. 202).
