Was There No One Worthier Than Yazid

Question

Was there truly no ruler more capable than Yazid in the realm of Hazrat Amir Mu‘awiya ﵁, whom he could have seated on the throne and entrusted with the government?

Answer

In his [Mu‘awiya’s] view, there was no one more prudent and brave than he [Yazid].
