The Sex of Adam and Eve: In Paradise or on Earth?

When Hazrat Adam ﵇ ate the grain of wheat in Paradise, he afterward felt the need to relieve himself. Some people here say that Hazrat Adam ﵇, and likewise Hawwa ﵍, had no place for relieving themselves — that is, no private parts and the like — because of which their bellies split open, and the accursed Satan stitched them up; after this they were expelled from Paradise.

Answer

The details of this account of male and female coming about have not been found in any reliable book. Apparently this belongs to the Isra’iliyyat — that is, the Jews fabricated it themselves and recorded it in their own books, and some other people have also begun to relate it.
