Were Fifty Prayers and a Sevenfold Daily Ghusl Obligatory Before the Mi‘raj?

Question: was it really the case that, before the blessed Mi‘raj, fifty prayers and a sevenfold ghusl per day had been made obligatory, as is stated in “Sunan Abi Dawud”?

Answer

Quote the passage from “Sunan Abi Dawud” from which you have understood that fifty prayers and a sevenfold ghusl per day were made obligatory before the Mi‘raj; also state in which chapter this occurs. Only then will an answer be given on the matter.
