Talaq at the girl’s wish

Question

Question: Several people told Zayd: “If you have no intention of keeping the girl, then give her talaq.” Zayd has also been heard saying — and he does say it: “If the girl wants, I can give talaq.” But if the girl does not consent to talaq, will talaq take effect or not?

Answer

Then why should talaq be demanded? Let the girl be sent to her husband.
