Fluid from the Eye Nullifies Wudu

Question

Sometimes, because of some ailment, fluid comes out of Zayd’s eye. Zayd is also an imam, and this fluid comes out during the prayer as well. In such a case, is the prayer valid or not?

Answer

If there is some wound inside the body and fluid comes from it in the form of purulent matter, then this nullifies wudu and invalidates the prayer. If that is not the case, it neither nullifies wudu nor invalidates the prayer.
