Performing Wudu by Putting One’s Hand into the Ewer

Question

What is the ruling on performing wudu by putting one’s hand into the ewer, when used water remains in it — [I mean] such ewers as are the same at the bottom and the top, which are found in mosques nowadays? Please explain.

Answer

Performing wudu by putting one’s hand [into the ewer] is contrary to precaution (khilaf al-ihtiyat).
