A Woman’s Mani

Question

Does a woman also have nocturnal emission (ihtilam) and discharge of mani? Also, if a woman is lying clinging to a man, then arousal rises, and without insertion of the [male] organ her urge is satisfied and the desire passes, but no mani is seen to come out — in such a state will ghusl be fard or not? And what is the colour of a woman’s mani?

Answer

A woman does have nocturnal emission (ihtilam), and mani also comes out of her; the colour of her mani is yellowish. If after lying [together] her desire ends, and neither does her mani come out nor does it come to insertion and the meeting of the two circumcised parts (iltiqa’ al-khitanayn), then ghusl will not be wajib for her.
