Does a Razor Used to Shave a Kafir Become Impure?

Question

A barber has a shop where everyone, Muslims and non-Muslims, has their hair cut and is shaved; one and the same razor is used for both Muslims and non-Muslims. If a Muslim has his hair cut and his beard line (khatt) trimmed there, will it be necessary for him to regard his head, face and so on as impure and wash them three times, or would it be better to do so?

Answer

The head and face do not become impure merely because of this. However, if there is blood on the razor and it gets onto the face or head, they will certainly become impure.
