The Leftover (Su'r) of a Disbeliever

Question

Is it permissible to drink the leftover (su'r) water of a disbeliever (kafir) — with dislike (karaha) or without dislike — or not?

Answer

If there is no impurity of wine, forbidden meat or the like in his mouth, his leftover water is pure, not impure. However, eating, drinking and keeping close company with such people without need is makruh.
