A Small Child Urinates in His Mother's Lap — Can There Be an Easier Way?

Little children urinate in their mothers' laps, which causes the difficulty of washing again and again. Please indicate some easy and simple way.

Answer

Urine is impure in any case: if it gets on clothes, the clothes will become impure; if it gets on the body, the body will become impure; and without purifying it the prayer will not be valid. The child should be dressed in such clothing that the urine stays inside it and does not reach the mother's clothes and body; nowadays this has even become customary.
