Reading Munajat-i Maqbul during the Days of Hayd

Question

May women read Munajat-i Maqbul (“Accepted Supplications”) during the days of hayd or not? Some people say that in Munajat-i Maqbul the Arabic du‘as also contain verses of the Noble Qur’an, and therefore the versified Urdu du‘as should be bound separately and read.

Answer

It is permissible to read the Urdu du‘as while holding [the book] with a cloth, a handkerchief or the like.
