An Impure Garment Washed in a Bucket, Which Was Then Lowered into the Well Without Being Purified
Question
In order to purify an impure garment, I drew water from the well into a bucket and lifted the garment, and by chance two to four drops of water dripped from that impure garment and fell into the bucket. I threw away the water of that bucket, but absent-mindedly, without washing the bucket three times, I lowered it into the well. Now the question is: in such a case, did the well remain pure, or will it become impure?
Answer
If an impure garment was put into the bucket, washed and taken out, and the bucket was lowered into the well without being purified, the well has become impure, and it is necessary to draw out all of its water. The prayers performed before this with wudu made from its water should be repeated, and any garment or body that this water touched should also be purified.
