Using the Old Door Leaves of a Jointly Owned House for Oneself
Question
If one of the shareholders of a jointly owned house has the old and broken door leaves of the house removed and has new door leaves fitted at his own expense, may he put those door leaves, which are worth less than the new ones, to his own use without telling the other shareholder, or not?
Answer
If, having fitted a new door leaf at his own expense, he puts the old and broken door leaves to his own use, it is permissible, provided the other partners have no objection to it.
