Partnership and Reward
Question
Khalid and Bakr each put in one thousand rupees, and the two of them started trading with two thousand; and it was agreed that Khalid would do no work in the trade, but all the work would be done by Bakr alone. Therefore Bakr says that the profit should be divided into three parts: one part for Khalid and two parts for me — one on account of half the capital and the other on account of my labour — since Khalid does no work. Is this valid or not?
