A Particular Manner of Supplication
Question
After reciting the following tasbih I make supplication, but I do not keep to it as a fixed rule — sometimes I also leave it. Does this practice of mine fall under any kind of bid‘a (innovation in religion)? [ar]لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ الْعَلِيِّ الْعَظِيمِ، حَسْبُنَا ٱللَّهُ وَنِعْمَ ٱلْوَكِيلُ، لَّآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّآ أَنتَ سُبْحَـٰنَكَ إِنِّى كُنتُ مِنَ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ[/ar] “There is no might and no power except with Allah, the Most High, the Most Great.
Answer
In the case asked about, this manner is not a bid‘a.
