Non-Transmitted (Ghayr Ma’thura) Supplication in the Prayer

Question

Is it permissible, within the prayer, to supplicate with words other than those established from the Qur’an and hadith?

Answer

It is permissible, provided it is not speech of the kind of people’s speech (kalam al-nas).
